It is a lively part of Utrecht and a very popular hangout in summer when all the boats enter the city via the Weerdsluis lock. If you don't fancy going into town, don't worry! There are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants around, and if you fancy some greenery Griftpark is just a 10 minute walk away.
